On 21 June, a forest fire broke out in Marmaris district (Mugla Province, south-western Turkey). More than 3,000 personnel and more than 1,140 vehicles have been deployed over the affected area.
According to the Disaster and Emergency Management of Turkey (AFAD), 29 people were affected, and 430 others were evacuated in Marmaris.
Over the next 24 hours, according to JRC European Forest Fire Information System (EFFIS), the fire danger forecast will be from high to extreme over Mugla Province.
