Flooding across Ecuador between 15 September and 14 October 2026 is linked to six deaths and seven displaced people in a Green national, multi-episode aggregate from the Global Disaster Alert and Coordination System (GDACS). These national figures are not allocated to Los Ríos, El Oro or any other province.
A separate analytical note dated 13 October describes heavy rain and flooding in Los Ríos Province in mid-October. The seven-person displacement figure was retrieved on 14 October, but GDACS gives no separate observation date for it. It must not be read as seven people newly displaced that day.
